Even simple little birthday cakes mean the world to someone, and I love making them.
Religious Anniversary
I was blessed to make our Pastor's 25th anniversary cake. He has been in the ministry for 33 years, but at our church for 25. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful man to lead our flock. Another Pastor said that he is a pastoral pastor, and I agree. He is a wonderful man, and a blessing from God. It is so humbling to be asked to honor someone for devoting their life to God, but with God's help, Pastor was very pleased with his cakes.
Military Cake
It was such an honor to make cakes for a Chief Petty Officer who was retiring from the Navy. How wonderful is it to honor someone who served our nation for 21 years. They thanked me profusely for the cakes, but I was that one that was thankful for his service to our country.
Gitty Up Cowboys
I know that I say this all the time, but I love my job. Seeing peoples faces when they see their cake is awesome, and this cake was no different. The mother of the birthday boy e-mailed me the next day and told me that everyone was begging her to let them eat the hat, and finally she relented and they all got a piece of cowboy hat to eat. How much fun is that?
Subway Eat Fresh
This was a first for me, the first time I have ever been asked to make food look like other food. The girl that I made this for is in love with Subway and was having her party catered by them, so as a surprise her mother ordered this cake. She absolutely loved it, and I had so much fun making it. Both the top and bottom of the "loaf" of bread are cake and all the condiments are gum paste. My husband even jumped in an helped with the cheese and the black olives.
Mater
Who doesn't love the movie cars? And especially Mater. Well, the 2 year old little boy that I made this cake for almost fell over when he saw his cake, and that is why I do this.
Groom's Cake
This cake was for a man who's name is Bob and he is a contractor, hence the Bob the Builder. He also rides Harley's. Hopefully now the cake makes sense.
Sponge Bob Cake
This birthday cake was for my husband, who loves to watch Sponge Bob with my daughter, so she decided that Daddy had to have a Sponge Bob cake. I was the one that figured, it's for his birthday, so he should be wearing his birthday suit.
Going off to college cake
This young high school graduate loved leopard print and was leaving for college, so it all worked out.
Wacky, elegant cake
This bride wanted a topsy, turvy cake that looked like it was going to just fall over, and yet elegant at the same time. WOW that was fun. She loved the cake, and it was a joy to make.
Music Camp Cake
Another fun year at music camp. Another yummy cake for the kids and parents to eat. Everything on the cake is edible.
Chinese Birthday
It doesn't really matter the theme, it can be put on a cupcake and turned into a cake.
Yellow Rose Of Texas Cake
I was blessed to be asked to make Miss Virginia's 80th birthday cake. She is such a wonderful, dear woman, and it was awesome to be a part of her special day. Her son is Johnny Lee, so it had to be all about the Yellow Rose of Texas.
Red Hat Cake
I had the honor of making a small cake for a wonderful woman's 80th birthday at our church. As you can see, she is a member of the Red Hat Society.
Church Birthday
I am always so blessed to be asked to make a cake for someone whom I go to church with. No matter how simple, it is always such an honor.

Nature is always such an inspiration in any form of artwork. This cake was for my mom's birthday. At a loss for a quick idea, I walked around the yard and looked at the flowers in bloom and decided to make her an around the yard cake.
Mom and Dad's Anniversary Cake
Nothing is too good for our Moms and Dads, so the work put into this cake was truly a labour of love.
Pastor's Retirement Cake
When our Assistant Pastor retired I was truly honored when our Pastor asked me to make his retirement cake. He and his wife both teared up when they saw it, and all the hard work and late nights designing and making this cake payed off. The topper is made out of clay and is Luther's Seal, the symbol of the Lutheran church.
